Paula Scott Fogarty

Paula Scott Fogarty's career began in Advertising as a copywriter and media coordinator where she developed a passion for selling product. She moved onto Public Relations for a boutique agency in Palo Alto, California where she honed her direct communications skills.

Paula is former President of Kindel Furniture Company, where she led product development and marketing efforts for the firm’s best selling collections. She also developed alternative channels of distribution including private label and luxury hotels. She began her career at Kindel as Manager of Marketing and Public Relations where she launched major new programs and campaigns.

A Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude graduate of Wofford College with degrees in Philosophy and Art History, Paula has also studied at Yale University, the Goethe Institute in Germany, the Wharton School for Business and completed an intensive research internship at the Winterthur Museum in American Furniture Design. Paula has written articles on Gender and Leadership as well as Tropical Forests and the Furniture Industry.

Non-profit work keeps Paula close to issues facing this segment of the market. She has served as Chair of the Board for The Center for Environmental Study and the Kendall College Memorial Foundation and is presently Chair of the Board for The Irish Georgian Society.
